Prepaid Data is available on all our International SIM Cards, so that you can read and send emails and access the Internet using your phone while traveling. If you plan on using large amounts of Data while traveling, we recommend purchasing a Data Bundle.

Many Smartphone handsets automatically run applications that will use data such as push email, weather applications, location services, etc. We recommend that you disable automatic applications on your Smartphone when roaming.

Data Bundles provide you with a separate credit balance which is used for surfing the web, emailing, streaming music and videos and all other kinds of data usage on your smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Activating your bundle
You will need to activate the bundle shortly before you depart for your trip, or upon arrival. If you do not activate the bundle, it will not work and any data usage will utlise your standard credit balance.
To Activate your bundle, simply sign in to your account at rechargeminutes.com and click “Activate Data Bundle” on your account details page. Alternatively, you can dial 177 from your mobile when using our mobile service.
How to purchase
Buying a data bundle is easy. Simply purchase an ekit SIM card and during the purchase process, you'll have the opportunity to include a data bundle.
If you already have an ekit SIM card, simply login to your online account and click "buy a data bundle" in your Account details page.
Your phone must be configured to work with our Prepaid Data service.

Please note: WAP and Internet access, email, instant messaging, and MMS are features of many phones, but not all. Prepaid data is required to enable these features if they are available on your phone. Please check which features are supported by your phone.
